Lusting Beauty of Simplicity II

On a previous post, 2-6-09, I lusted the beautiful simplicity of the artist Moise.

This post will feature the beautifully simple figurative work of Hannes Steinert.

Having been a custom home builder and designer, I am well aware of the difficulty of creating beauty in simple lines and arrangement.

I hope you'll enjoy his hand made prints as much as I do.

Lusting Anonymous

I've often wondered how many beautiful drawings, left unsigned, litter the shelves, closets, attics, and drawers of the world.

They rarely see the full light of day, and yet can offer visual pleasure despite their anonymity.

The drawings below may be from a famous hand or just an student of the arts.

Art should stand alone, based on merits, not signature or pedigree.
