as his own. The sculptor, with chisel at the ready, begins the take away process.
Unlike those that work in clay, material removed cannot be replaced. His vision, hidden in that chunk of ordinary rock, seeks revelation. He is able to brush aside the veil of stone and bring to our eyes a creation, once only seen the minds eye of the artist who works this magic in stone.
